My experience at St. John’s Dental Practice. While attending the dentist is not one of my preferred ways of spending time, I have always found my experiences at St. Johns to be positive. All the staff are extremely courteous and helpful. Whenever I was in pain I was seen to without delay and on occasions my visit was followed by a phone call to insure I was experiencing no further discomfort. On my most recent visit I had a root canal filling; Tom (Quilter) explained the procedure to me in full, I was shown an x-ray of the tooth before and after which allowed me to fully comprehend the necessity and benefits of the treatment. I did not experience any discomfort during the procedure I felt it was carried out efficiently and professionally. I left feeling I had been dealt with on a personal level, nothing was rushed, I was made feel at ease and my questions were answered. I am certainly happy to recommend St. John’s Dental Practice.
Over the years I have been to a number of Dentists and always been told what was wrong with my teeth. From the first appointment I had with Mr. Quilter he told me what could be done to improve my teeth. From something as simple as wearing a mouth guard at night to having my front teeth crowned. No more pains in my jaws and for the first time since I can remember I can show my teeth when I smile. Really appreciated the “if a jobs worth doing, its worth doing well” attitude Mr. Quilter showed at all my appointments. This made the whole experience easier and more made me feel confident that i was doing the right thing. was informed of the cost of my treatment at the beginning and there were no hidden costs in the final bill. Mr .Quilter is an honest and very approachable ( I had many questions!) Dentist that i have already recommended to a few friends.
Over the last 4 months my son Sean has seen both Tom Twomey and Tom Quilter on different occasions for dental treatment. As seems to be the theme at St John’s Dental Clinic, he was treated in a caring patient manner making each visit relaxing for both Sean and I. I had the pleasure of attending Thomas Twomey for some dental treatment last month. He was recommended to me by some friends who like me are nervous patients. I needed some fillings and a crown. He was fantastic always very pleasant and extremely nice to deal with. I can honestly say my fear of attending the dentist is now gone. I would have no hesitation of recommending him.
